Refuse loader – Tavistock
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 7:00 AM until finish (approx. 8-hour shifts)
Days: Monday to Friday
Start: Immediate starts available

We are currently recruiting Refuse Loaders to join a busy team in Tavistock. This is a physically demanding role involving the collection of household waste and recycling in all weather conditions. You'll be working as part of a friendly, hard-working crew to ensure the smooth running of daily collection routes.
Key Responsibilities- Loading waste and recycling bins onto collection vehicles
- Working efficiently as part of a team
- Walking long distances and handling repetitive lifting
- Ensuring safe working practices at all times
- Supporting drivers with route completion
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions
