Accounts Payable​/Accounts Receivable Manager

Our client in Southeast Michigan needs someone who keeps cash moving: vendors paid right, customers billed fast, and the aging report clean at month end. This is a hands-on leadership role and real ownership of the function.

• The full payables and receivables cycle: invoice processing, vendor payments, customer billing, cash application and collections
• Leading and developing the AP/AR team
• The AP/AR side of month-end close: reconciliations, accruals, aging and subledgers that tie to the GL
• Past-due accounts and vendor disputes, worked directly before they turn into holds
• Controls: approvals, 1099s, payment audits and audit support
• Finding the manual work and duplicate effort in the cycle and fixing it

• 5+ years in AP and/or AR, with 2+ years leading people or owning the function
• ERP experience and strong Excel: VLOOKUPs, pivots and reconciliations
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred. Strong experience counts just as much
