Respiratory Therapist PRN – Corewell Health
This part‑time, PRN (as needed) respiratory therapist position at Corewell Health’s Taylor Hospital supports a high volume acute care setting with variable shift scheduling.
About the UnitOur Respiratory Care Department provides comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages. The team collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality care, including advanced diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education, using the latest technology and evidence‑based practices.
Scope of WorkUnder minimal direction, you will implement and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participate in patient, student, staff, and physician education; provide technical support for all respiratory care equipment; and assist with general department functions.
Qualifications- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Respiratory Therapist License – State of Michigan (required upon hire)
- Respiratory Therapist Registry – NBRC (required upon hire)
- Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
