Corewell Taylor ICU is a 16‑bed Medical ICU. You will provide care for patients requiring ventilator support, medication management, surgery recovery, and assist physicians with bedside procedures. Nurses work alongside the Intensivist and multidisciplinary teams, giving daily updates on patient progress.

A Magnet‑designated hospital that has served the community since 1977. The facility offers specialty services including 24‑hour emergency care, surgical pavilion, pain management, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation, and advanced imaging.

The RN, under the ANA scope of practice, utilizes the nursing process to provide professional care, incorporating patient‑family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge. The RN provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures, recognizing the impact of nursing care and patient‑family partnerships on outcomes. The RN partners with patients and families, develops teaching strategies, and documents education in the health record.

• Associate’s in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing required within the last 5 years.
• Graduates from a non‑accredited nursing program must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed health‑care role and must have passed the NCLEX.
• MI registered nurse (RN) required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months.
• Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
