* *** Duties and Responsibilities
**** LEVEL I (GRADE
4):*
* • Interviews juveniles and their families to obtain psychosocial information and works with multidisciplinary teams to develop individual treatment plans for assigned cases;  
• Provides crisis, individual and group counseling sessions, and skills development training  
• Provides crisis, individual and group counseling sessions, and skills development training for juveniles and their families;  
• Completes and maintains records and/or reports regarding services provided and completed for assigned cases;  
• Develops discharge recommendations and discharge plans and coordinates reviews with the multidisciplinary treatment team on juveniles who are released;  
• Meets with juveniles family members and multidisciplinary team to provide information regarding social services and to facilitate intervention services upon release;  
• Participates in program evaluation research activities, including data gathering, recording and analysis;  
• Reports allegations of child abuse, neglect and/or exploitation to authorities;  
• Provides training to detention and/or corrections staff, as well as on-going consultation;  
• Provide on-call coverage for the management of clinical emergencies; and  
• Other duties may be assigned.
** LEVEL II (GRADE
5):*
* • Interviews juveniles and their families to obtain psychosocial information and works with other service providers to develop individual treatment plans for assigned cases (other services provider examples are Probation Officer, multidisciplinary treatment team);  
• Completes diagnostic assessments and case conceptualization for assigned cases;  
• Provides crisis, individual and group counseling sessions, and skills development training for juveniles and their families;  
• Completes and maintains records and/or reports regarding services provided and completed for assigned cases;  
• Develops exit plans on assigned cases (i.e., Discharge Summaries, Recovery Plans, Safety Plans);  
• Coordinates reviews with the Probation Officer and/or a multidisciplinary team on assigned cases and follow up after completing services.  
• Meets with juvenile’s family members, and other service providers to provide information regarding social services and to facilitate other intervention services (other services provider examples are Probation Officer, multidisciplinary treatment team);  
• Participates in program evaluation research activities, including data gathering, recording and analysis;  
• Reports allegations of child abuse, neglect and/or exploitation to authorities;  
• Provides training to Department staff and interns, as well as on-going consultation;  
• Provide on-call coverage for the management of clinical emergencies; and  
• Other duties may be assigned.
