Advisa Care Hospice serves patients in the Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Genesee, and Bay counties
. No healthcare experience needed.
Must be 18+.
Our MAIN Office is located in Troy — BUT you volunteer near you in your area!
* Hospice does not accept court ordered service hours *
Volunteer opportunities- Sitting bedside with hospice patients in nursing facilities
- Providing caregiver relief inside private residences
- Pet therapy (already licensed dogs) to visit with patients
- Play the guitar bedside of hospice patients
- Bereavement volunteer support calls to family & assisting with grief groups
- Pre-med students who want to learn about gerontology patient care
- Grief support (remote)
