Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings; draft pleadings, motions, and responses; advise clients; and support senior attorneys in complex litigation matters.
Responsibilities- Represent clients in court in landlord-tenant and debt collection proceedings.
- Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and handle trials.
- Perform legal research and writing for complex litigation matters and appeals.
- Advise clients on landlord-tenant and debt collection matters.
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
- Previous experience in law preferred
- Familiarity with legal research and writing
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Real estate and eviction experience preferred
- Self motivated
- Strong time management skills
