K+S Services, a Sun Source Company, the industry leader in manufacturing equipment repair is seeking an Industrial Equipment Repair Mechanic. This position entails several essential responsibilities. Must be experienced with the disassembly, inspection, reassembly, and testing of motors, servo motors, pumps, gearboxes, actuators and other similar industrial equipment. Additional experience with feedback devices and motor drives is a plus. This position will require the candidate to possess strong problem‑solving skills, troubleshooting abilities, be familiar with the use of precision measuring devices and other associated tools.

Must have own tools, be computer proficient and possess effective communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment as well as alone.

Responsibilities
  • Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, evaluation, final assembly and final testing of repair parts.
  • Prepare failure analysis reports for each component assembly.
  • Assist in researching parts and suppliers.
  • Assist in identifying and maintaining spare parts inventory to meet the customer’s needs. Ensure all repaired items are inventoried and stored properly.
  • All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as required.
Required

Education and Experience
  • 3 years work experience is preferred.
  • Read and follow assembly drawings.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Effective communication skills both written and oral.
  • Able to work individually as well as part of a team.
  • No lifting restrictions.
