Material Handler

Our client is seeking a Material Handler to join their team in Taylor, MI . In this role, you’ll support daily warehouse, yard, and customer operations by moving materials efficiently, helping keep orders accurate, and ensuring the right products get to the right place—on time.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Taylor, MI

Pay Range: $18.00-$21.00+/Hour

Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift (Hi-Lo) to support daily warehouse and yard needs.

• Load and unload semi-trucks with roofing and construction materials.

• Pick, pull, and stage customer orders to keep workflow moving.

• Receive inbound supplier shipments and verify materials against Bills of Lading and packing slips.

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks, and assist customers and contractors with product pickups.

What's Needed?

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.

• Experience loading and unloading trucks preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying materials and orders.

• Ability to lift 50-80 lbs consistently.

• Comfortable working in outdoor and indoor environments, following all safety procedures and standards.
