Position: Document Controller (Safety Team)

Samsung E&C America, Inc. is a leading construction firm committed to excellence and safety in every project we build. As we expand our operations in Taylor, Texas, we are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Safety Document Controller to join our Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. This role is critical in ensuring that our safety protocols are documented, communicated, and maintained to the highest standards.

The Safety Document Controller will manage the intake, registration, and distribution of all safety‑related documents. This position requires a bilingual professional (English/Korean) who can bridge communication gaps between multinational teams and ensure that safety compliance documentation is accurate and accessible.

Responsibilities
  • Compile, record and administrate design and safety team documents
  • Sets up and maintains files, logs and uses PMIS (Project Management Information System/etc.) to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations
  • Reviews drafts and finished documents for grammar usage
  • Proactively checks and coordinates project documents and computer filing structures
  • Collects and updates data for reports related with safety management
  • Gathers and assembles data of safety team
  • Collect data and documentation and upload to corporate system
  • Search and contact local company regarding safety management tasks
  • Other duties as assigned (interpretation, translations etc.)
Qualifications
  • Completion of a four‑year college degree or more
  • Proficient with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to keep neat, accurate records and files; both in alphabetically and numerically
  • One‑year experience in the architectural/construction profession preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
