We are recruiting an experienced Structural Engineer to support a major, large-scale construction project in Taylor, Texas
.
This is an excellent opportunity for a structural engineering professional with experience in industrial, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, semiconductor, or data center construction who enjoys working at the intersection of design and field execution.
What You’ll Do- Review IFC structural drawings prepared by the Engineer of Record (EOR)
- Review structural shop drawings, calculations, submittals, and vendor deliverables
- Coordinate with Owners, EORs, contractors, fabricators, vendors, and construction teams
- Lead resolution of RFIs, design clarifications, field changes, and constructability issues
- Support structural steel, reinforced concrete, precast concrete, and specialty support systems
- Conduct field observations and address structural installation and quality issues
- Participate in coordination with Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Process teams
- Help keep engineering deliverables aligned with critical construction milestones
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis
- Structural engineering experience on large-scale construction projects
- Strong experience with structural steel and reinforced concrete
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI standards
- Experience coordinating between design teams and active construction operations
- Strong communication, technical coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Semiconductor/FAB facilities
- Data centers or mission-critical facilities
- Advanced manufacturing or cleanroom environments
- Large-scale EPC or Design-Build projects
- Projects exceeding $500M
