Position SummaryAs a Senior Benefits Specialist, you will oversee day‑to‑day administration of the company’s employee health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and related programs.
Role And Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of health and welfare benefit plans.
- Administer leave programs in compliance with FMLA, ADA, and state‑specific regulations, including the ADA interactive process and documentation.
- Act as an escalation point for complex leave or accommodation cases and coordinate with third‑party administrators.
- Partner with HRBPs and managers to ensure consistent and fair administration across sites.
- Lead the annual open enrollment cycle, including planning, system testing, employee communications, and vendor coordination.
- Serve as a primary contact for employee benefit inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic responses.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service delivery meets employee and company expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required;
Master’s degree and/or CEBS certification is a plus. - 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration, with strong focus on health plan operations, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
- Proven ability to lead large‑scale projects such as annual open enrollment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills with a solution‑oriented approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work effectively with employees, leaders, and external partners.
The current base salary range for this role is between $69,070 and $156,950, with individual pay depending on duties, location, education, and experience. Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package and may include participation in incentive programs.
