Position SummaryIn your role as a Product Operation GPST Engineer, you’ll work alongside a talent team to tackle complex problems that span across multiple systems and organizations. You will also act as a liaison beyond internal collaboration, engaging with our core vendors to maintain strong relationships and deliver critical components for our manufacturing.
Role and Responsibilities- Reporting on overall status in relation to the production plan & product delivery.
- Hosting production progress conference calls on a weekly basis with HQ.
- Collecting and analyzing data to determine planning needs.
- Participating in the resolution of urgent production issues as they occur.
- Coordinating daily factory needs with Business Operations (Korea HQ) and taking actions to meet daily customer shipment requirements; leading technology transfers and collaborating in cross‑fab problem solving with HQ and local ex‑pat teams.
- Performing line analysis and supply‑chain forecasting to pinpoint bottleneck areas and taking actions to improve line movement and balance.
- Investigating bottlenecks using existing production plans, tool performance metrics, and capacity projects, and creating summaries of problem areas.
- Collaborating with manufacturing shift operations and following up on issue resolution to identify areas for improvement within manufacturing and systems.
- Analyzing factory capacity limiters to identify capital‑investment issues or equipment‑qualification needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering & Applied Mathematics.
- 4+ years’ experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, factory operations, capacity planning, or project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Python, SQL, Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira) knowledge preferred.
- Ability to speak Korean is a plus.
