Photo Process Technician - Days at Samsung Semiconductor

In this role you will perform functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, working with engineers and manufacturing on setup and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting and following standard operating procedures, and performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. You’ll also use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in‑line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes, and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process while ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental management system guidelines.
Roleand Responsibilities
- Collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in‑line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes.
- Determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process; ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.
- Follow standard operating procedures for change point management (CPM) and system maintenance to keep equipment/processes running effectively.
- Conduct failure analysis and follow scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
- Monitor equipment and processes in current state and proactively identify ways to improve processes.
- Associate’s degree or other technical certification; experienced Pharmacy Technician, Dental Assistant, or other medical technologist (external equivalent), or 4 years of equivalent technical military service.
- Minimum of 2+ years of prior work experience.
- Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
- Familiar with TPM concepts.
- All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require onsite work; we are not accepting applications for candidates who will need visa sponsorship.

A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays
C Shift – Thursday through Saturday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays
