In this role you will work alongside a team of professionals dedicated to the continued success of Samsung Austin Semiconductor.

• Monitor electrical rooms via cameras and a variety of electrical distribution equipment such as Variable Frequency Drives, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Diesel Generators, Breakers, High, Medium, and Low Voltage Buses, Relays, and other electrical equipment.
• Operate remote breakers and/or coordinate switching operations as necessary to provide reliable power to site stakeholders.
• Coordinate with other departments to troubleshoot issues, turn on/off loads, and communicate as necessary.
• Participate in Leading Safety Metric activities to improve onsite safety and quality.
• Take part in shift turnover briefs, including actions performed during shift, any abnormal conditions, and outstanding action items.
• Provide technical assistance to junior team members as needed and coach less experienced members to improve overall level of knowledge and job satisfaction.

Shift: B shift; scheduled for 12 hour shift, Sun – Tues & alternate Saturdays (Nights).

Night shift schedule: B shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45 pm – 7:15 am) with alternating Saturdays; D shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45 pm – 7:15 am) with alternating Saturdays.

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college or trade school preferred; apprenticeship or work/study program is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience required with SCADA, high to medium voltage operations.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E as it applies to industrial installations.
• Understanding of electrical distribution system and single line diagrams.
• Knowledge of standard practices of the Electrical trade.

Base pay range: $26.80 to $42.68 per hour. Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs.
