Travis Association for the Blind/Austin Lighthouse (TAB) is a non‑profit organization founded in 1934 by Dr. Henry L. Hilgartner and other civic‑minded citizens of Austin. TAB provides opportunities for economic and personal independence for people who are blind, visually impaired, or deaf‑blind by creating, sustaining, and improving employment. The organization continues to grow and expand the services it provides to blind Texans.

Responsibilities- Accurately count and deliver partial, single, and multiple box orders to the production areas.
- Leave pallets neat with no loose product.
- Calculate and balance a reasonable cart load of products and tri‑walls.
- Construct and secure packing boxes.
- Quality‑check orders.
- Ship filled orders of various types correctly.
- Restock the production area.
- Follow security, safety, and organizational policies at all times.
- Assist other employees in understanding and complying with TAB's policies and procedures.
- Behave in accordance with the key behaviors aligned with TAB's Core Values of Leadership, Integrity, Growth & Innovation, Heart, and Teamwork (LIGHT).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Demonstrates sound work ethics.

- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

With or without reasonable accommodation, employees in this position must be able to:
- Prolonged periods of working on a computer.
- Be in a stationary position (stand/sit) for 4–8 hours.
- Lift or move up to 75 lbs. at times.
- Bend, stoop, squat, or adjust position for 20% of time.
- Work in conditions with varying temperature, including cold and/or heat.
- Transport 500+ pounds of product on carts and pallet jacks.
