Jr. Production Operator - NC

Position Summary

The Junior Production Operator plays a key role in manufacturing high-quality plastic products used in automotive and utility applications. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a growing manufacturing environment, offering hands-on experience, skill development, and long-term career potential. The role operates on 12-hour day or night shifts with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Operate production equipment while maintaining strict safety and quality standards
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action, including process shutdowns when necessary
• Support production schedules by completing assignments efficiently and accurately
• Perform batch processing activities and meet standard batch times
• Complete production order data entry and follow all operating and quality procedures

• Strong safety awareness and attention to quality
• Solid math skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to make production decisions in a fast-paced environment

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with batch processing and plastics manufacturing preferred
• Forklift experience and/or certification required
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Willingness to work day or night shifts and adjust schedules as production demands
• Team-oriented mindset and flexibility
