We are looking for a Project Professional in the Salt Lake City office to execute project work, partner with senior professionals, mentor junior staff, collaborate with multidiscipline teams, and engage with clients.
Responsibilities- Perform and develop scopes for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis.
- Safely conduct field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support under supervision.
- Coordinate tasks and small projects with guidance and interaction by senior operations/technical staff.
- Prepare designs, reports and calculations on complex projects for review.
We are looking for someone who can provide quality technical support on commercial, municipal, transportation, energy and water projects. Experience on design/build projects is preferred.
Key Technical Focus- Soil and rock classification
- Slope stability analysis
- Earth retention systems
- Shallow and deep foundation design
- Materials testing and engineering
- Soil improvement techniques
- Pavement design
Knowledge of infrastructure, drilling operations and heavy civil project design and construction is preferred.
Education & Experience- 6 to 10 years of related experience or 4 years related experience with a Master’s or 2 years with a PhD.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently or with a team in a multidisciplinary environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel and perform field work, even in inclement weather and physically demanding conditions
- Ability to adhere to work assignments/schedules, be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Willingness to work beyond a standard 40-hour work week when needed
