Cybersecurity, Systems Engineer
Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to conduct continuous cross‑domain vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and red team operations at Hill Air Force Base, Ogden, UT. The role requires expertise in cloud‑based and on‑premises Windows, Linux, and mobile OS environments, and the ability to analyze commercial and federal mission systems for vulnerabilities, develop remediation strategies, create custom tools and exploits, and present findings to clients.
Duties/ Responsibilities
• Lead technical aspects of long‑term penetration testing engagements and/or continuous Red Team campaigns.
• Conduct varied testing against applications, networks, mobile, embedded, IoT, and unmanned aerial vehicle systems.
• Develop and maintain tools, procedures, and assessment programs to emulate real‑world adversaries.
• Liaise with clients, write documentation, and present assessment results.
• Travel as necessary for onsite testing; may be evaluated for a security clearance.
- 7+ years of experience in at least three specialized areas such as intelligence analysis, network engineering, penetration testing, red team operations, hardware or software engineering, exploit development, reverse engineering, vulnerability assessment, physical security assessments, or social engineering.
- Strong knowledge of simulated intrusion and physical penetration testing.
- Proficiency in testing mobile OS, embedded systems, and IoT devices.
- Familiarity with unmanned aerial vehicles and associated mobile and wireless technologies.
- Proficiency with Windows, iOS, Android, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Moderate competency in at least one scripting or coding language.
- Working knowledge of software development, preferably collaborating with dev teams.
- Experience with network analysis methodologies.
- Experience drafting technical reports, documenting findings, and providing recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- BS (or equivalent) in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, EE, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Willingness to travel.
- US Citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.
- Experience with container orchestration and microservices.
- Experience with Dev Sec Ops tools; preference for Kubernetes and software development pipelines.
- Security certifications: CEH, OSCP, PNPT, or similar.
- Advanced forensic tools and attack reconstruction experience.
- Post‑incident computer forensics without data destruction.
- Quality assurance and best‑practice implementation.
- MS degree in a technical field.
- Security+ certification.
