General Merchandise and Food Sales team members enable a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. This team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for General Merchandise areas, conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance, pricing, and supports pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage guests to solve needs and provide helpful service.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop Target.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize backroom, arrange merchandise, and set up promotional signage for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment certified, if applicable.
• Execute pricing changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and ensure inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how store operations affect inventory, profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve experiences.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws and policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to climb ladders and move merchandise safely, including up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions depending on duties.
• Mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
