- Illinois eligible/licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
- CPR certification is required.
- Work experience preferred.
- Universal Precautions Category I.
- Carries out patient care programs as established by the therapist for patients of all ages.
- Performs treatment procedures safely and according to APTA standards and department policies.
- Communicates effectively with the Physical Therapist and team members.
- Takes appropriate actions based on patient’s condition.
- Participates in patient care documentation.
- Maintains a neat, functional, and safe environment and equipment.
- Maintains skills through in-service and continuing education.
- Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling.
- Participates in training programs for students, staff, and community.
- Promotes health and safety.
- Participates in competency assessments.
- Performs other related work as required.
