• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and implement or adjust care plans as needed.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, interventions, and discharge planning.
• Exercise critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion in clinical decision-making.
