Your Role:
Supporting Independence | Enriching Lives

We are recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our Community Care team supporting a gentleman who lives in his own home. The role involves supporting a client with an acquired brain injury to access the community safely. We are looking for candidates with previous care experience who are confident working independently, reliable, flexible and have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.

Your responsibilities:

Personal care and support
:
Assisting with daily routines to promote comfort and wellbeing

Companionship
:
Offering warmth, kindness and a friendly face

Promoting independence
:
Encouraging clients to live fulfilled lives with autonomy

Community access
:
Helping clients engage in their local community

Medication support
:
Safe, timely administration of medication

Palliative and end of life care (where applicable):
Providing compassionate care during life's most sensitive moments

What we’re looking for:

At least 6 months of paid professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK)

Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility (moving and handling)

Experience in working with acquired brain injury (preferred)

The right to work in the UK

Registration with SSSC (applicants in Scotland) or SCW (applicants in Wales)

Ability to understand both verbal and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively
