HR & Talent Manager

Overview

This is a role with genuine influence. As a HR & Talent Manager, you'll shape how people grow, perform and progress within a manufacturing environment where technical capability and future skills are critical to success. Your work will directly impact retention, performance and long-term workforce planning.

• Ownership of the learning, development and performance agenda for a key manufacturing site
• Direct exposure to senior leadership, reporting into the Head of Global HR
• Opportunity to design and embed apprenticeships, graduate pathways and leadership development programmes
• Clear progression potential into a broader, possibly global HR role

• Leading and evolving the performance management framework to drive accountability and development
• Designing and delivering learning and development strategies across apprenticeships, graduates, leadership and career pathways
• Driving talent, succession and future skills planning for technical and engineering roles
• Managing day-to-day HR operations for the site, including employee relations and policy implementation
• Embedding engagement, coaching and recognition initiatives that strengthen culture and retention

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent with strong generalist HR experience
• Background in talent development, learning & development or organisational development
• Experience designing career pathways for engineers or technical teams
• Proven capability managing employee relations and site-based HR activity

Full-time, with hybrid working available up to one day per week from home.
