Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments Process and manage invoices, bills, and expense tracking Carry out bank and supplier reconciliations Produce monthly and quarterly financial reports (profit & loss, balance summaries) Assist with VAT returns and payroll processing where required Ensure compliance with internal processes and UK financial regulations Manage workload efficiently and meet reporting deadlines Use Sage and Xero as primary accounting platforms
Skills & Qualifications AAT qualification (required) Strong knowledge of Sage and Xero (required) Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy Solid understanding of UK VAT and bookkeeping practices Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Good written and verbal communication skills Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience preferred Experience in an accountancy practice or multi-client environment is advantageous Apply Now.
