Telford Compressed Air Services Ltd is a well‑established provider of compressed air solutions, offering installation, servicing, and maintenance to customers across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and organised Service Administrator to support our service team and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
The RoleAs Service Administrator, you will play a key role in coordinating service activities, supporting engineers, and acting as a point of contact for customers. This is a varied, fast‑paced role requiring strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and coordinating service engineers workloads including planned maintenance visits and reactive breakdown attendance
- Handling incoming calls and emails from customers
- Raising jobs on FSM Software System, reviewing service reports & actioning Engineer recommendations
- Processing service invoices and updating customer records
- Preparing compliance documentation for site access adhering to H&S requirements
- Liaising with engineers, suppliers, and customers to resolve queries
- Maintaining and updating customer details on FSM system
- Previous experience in an administrative or service coordination role (engineering or technical environment preferred, but not essential)
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (experience with service management systems is an advantage)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, professional, and customer‑focused approach
- Excellent communication skills with a polite manner
- Strong initiative and forward planning
- Computer literate and willing to learn new software systems
- Strong organisational skills
- Teamwork skills
- Ability and ambition to develop a technical understanding of the compressed air industry
