We are looking for x3 Receptionists, working between the hours of 7.45am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, on a 4 week flexi rota, which will include 1 in 4 Saturday working 8.30 - 1 or 8.30 - 5 on a rota basis.
The role is a varied and interesting job working in a medical practice within the reception area. The role includes call handling and administrative duties. The role holder will have excellent communication skills for face‑to‑face and telephone interactions with patients and service providers and other health professionals at all levels. The role holder will have experience in dealing with the general public and a positive demeanor, staying calm and working under pressure with a kind and empathetic approach.
The post holder will proactively communicate with relevant people (staff, clinicians, patients and visitors) and will have good PC literacy skills, using MS Office packages and NHS systems for which training will be provided. The role requires good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
The job is in a fast paced environment, working as a team player as part of a team at all Teldoc sites.
About usThe role is based at any of the 6 Teldoc practices, but you may be required to provide cover at the Shifnal sites, so you must be able to travel.
Hours of work will be between the hours of 7.45am and 6.30pm, fully flexible, to include 1 Saturday per month.
Job responsibilities- Become familiar with Practice procedures and protocols, and comply with them.
- Support the regular upkeep of both sites, adhering to and reinforcing health and safety across all sites.
- Open and close sites.
- Play a part in all Reception and Practice Team activities, for example, meetings.
- Be responsible for self‑development with support of Practice Team.
- Apply practice policies, standards and guidance.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
