Customer Service Administrator Shiremoor or Sunderland Temporary Opportunity Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of Northern Powergrid for a Customer Service Administrator to join their team in either Shiremoor or Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual to join a busy team supporting the business and its internal and external customers. We’re looking for someone with strong administration and IT skills, excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for delivering great customer service.

You’ll be working across a varied range of administrative tasks, supporting colleagues and helping to ensure processes run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing purchase orders and service provider payments Using in-house systems and applications, alongside Microsoft Office products Maintaining databases and ensuring accurate record keeping Liaising with internal colleagues, contractors, local authorities and customers Producing documentation and work instructions Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and introduce new ways of working Building and maintaining strong relationships across teams Providing effective administrative support to help deliver a high level of service to colleagues and customers Key

Competencies:

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Excellent planning and organisational abilities Good time management and the ability to prioritise workloads Confidence using IT systems and completing accurate data input Strong communication and customer service skills A dynamic and proactive approach The ability to respond effectively to the changing needs of customers and colleagues Excellent attention to detail Essential Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, or NVQ Level 2 Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Previous administration or customer service experience would be advantageous

Desirable Experience An understanding of the electricity power distribution network Experience using Oracle systems would be an advantage, but is not essential, as full training will be provided Why Apply?
