Our client, a reputable main dealer in Telford, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality servicing and repairs, supported by ongoing training and career development opportunities. Competitive salary between £32,000 and £34,000 dependent on experience

Duties:

Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using modern diagnostic equipment
Conduct safety checks and road tests to ensure vehicle compliance and safety
Document all work accurately and maintain detailed service records
Collaborate closely with workshop and service teams to meet customer expectations
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and health and safety regulations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
Level 2 qualification with relevant hands-on experience considered
