Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA Telford Up to £50,000 OTE £60,000

• Permanent position, Monday to Friday
• Choose from 40, 45 or 50 hours per week (Salary will reflect)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced VDA to join a well-established site in the Telford area.

This site is the latest addition to a well-established and growing repair group with multiple successful locations across the UK and a strong reputation for quality repairs and looking after their staff.

They are looking for an additional experienced Vehicle damage assessor to join the team.

• Inspect damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of damage, repair costs, and timescales
• Identify the correct prescribed repair method and ensure accurate documentation
• Carrying out remote estimates in addition.
• Prepare computerised and manual estimates, keeping up-to-date records of all work
• Liaise with insurance companies to gain repair authorisations and confirm repair costs
• Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure correct repair methodology is followed
• Ensure all amendments to repairs are authorised by insurers
• Work closely with bodyshop staff to ensure prescribed repair methods are carried out correctly

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator
• Audatex experience is essential
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Able to work efficiently in a busy, professional accident repair environment
