This is a full-time role based in Telford, Shropshire.
ROLE SPECIFICATIONResponsible for supporting continued growth within the business development team. This role focuses on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and promoting Severn Partnership’s service offerings of surveying and geospatial solutions to clients across rail, aviation, infrastructure, nuclear, property and estates sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Growth & Opportunity Development- Support the identification of new business opportunities across all associated sectors.
- Develop a strong understanding of Severn Partnership’s service offerings (including topographical, utility, mobile mapping, measured building surveys, monitoring, BIM, 3D laser scanning).
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, outbound activity, market research, and attending industry events.
- Support the full sales process and customer journey with new and existing clients.
- Work closely with the commercial team to achieve KPIs, whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify appointment opportunities, scheduling and attending client meetings for existing, lapsed, and new customers.
- Attend meetings face to face and online to discuss client needs and provide solutions to support projects.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Represent Severn Partnership at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
- Update and maintain CRM records to ensure accurate monitoring of pipelines and forecasts.
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager, operational team, and marketing to support business development strategies.
- Support the process and monitoring of opportunities.
- Contribute to Business Development meetings and discuss previous month’s performance and key developments.
- Work alongside the Business Development Manager to present work-winning opportunities to the Group SLT.
- Monitor industry activity, emerging technologies, frameworks, and competitor behaviour.
- Identify opportunities for services within strategic sectors.
- Support social media outreach and marketing campaigns.
- Help create email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp.

- Be fully aware of and comply with Munnelly Group’s policies and procedures relevant to your responsibilities.
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude, respecting fellow team members.
- Keep equipment and work areas clean and tidy.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by line management.
- Initiate continuous improvement and provide feedback on performance during one‑to‑ones and PDRs.
