Senior Childrens Residential Care Worker

Appoints a Senior Childrens Residential Care Worker to join the Esland team.

• Location: Villa Farm – Shifnal, UK
• Reporting To: Sarah Bourne
• Salary: £34,084 – £37,509 per annum (includes £60 pay for 10 monthly sleeps and an hourly rate of £12.95 – £14.60). Overtime available at an enhanced rate.
• Hours: 173 hours per month – 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep‑in’s. Operational 365 days a year.

• Provide person‑centred, therapeutic care to young people in a four‑bed residential setting.
• Support educational, emotional and extracurricular needs through personalised care plans.
• Maintain safe, compliant and supportive environment and ensure Ofsted standards are met.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary team to deliver holistic care, including crisis intervention and trauma‑informed support.
• Engage with schools to facilitate educational progression as per individual needs.
• Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory guidelines.

• Minimum 12 months experience in a children’s residential care home.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
• In‑depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practice.

• Age 21 or above (industry regulation).
