Job Summary
Working between 18, 28 or 35 hours per week, between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm, up to five days per week, on a four‑week rota. Must be fully flexible to work different days and times to suit the needs of the business.
PositionPart‑time Call Handler – integrated care navigation centre, Telford.
Work EnvironmentTeldoc’s call centre is part of our Integrated Care Navigation Centre in Telford. You will be handling a high volume of phone calls from patients, hospitals, emergency services, pharmacies and NHS professionals.
Responsibilities- Respond to inbound calls professionally, quickly and effectively in line with policies and procedures.
- Provide a fast, accurate and courteous telephone service, booking appointments via our system and dealing efficiently with all enquiries.
- Greet patients, navigate care, book appointments and answer queries in a professional and caring manner.
- Work within a team, independently and under pressure.
- Be available to work Monday and Friday and maintain full flexibility to cover a rota.
- Strong customer‑service or administrative background.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and display empathy and patience when handling inbound or outbound calls.
- Capability to manage a high volume of queries from patients and NHS professionals.
- Independent working style with the ability to thrive in a team and under pressure.
Permanent contract. Part‑time, flexible working. Salary £12.92 per hour.
