Role SummaryThis position is for a Senior Sales Support Assistant working under direct supervision. The role provides administrative and technical support across sales order processing and customer service activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery across the customer network. The role is central to maintaining smooth order flow from receipt through to delivery, while supporting customer queries and maintaining accurate system data.
Key Responsibilities- Process and manage customer purchase orders through to delivery
- Handle telephone and email queries from customers, including:
- Spare parts requests
- Order updates
- Price and availability checks
- Maintain accurate customer master data within SAP
- Create and manage customer accounts
- Process returns and ensure correct system updates
- Support general sales administration and customer service activities
- Previous experience in a busy sales support or customer service environment where service is critical
- Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner
- Self-motivated with strong organisation, planning, and prioritisation skills
- High attention to detail
- Confident handling email and telephone-based customer queries
- IT literate, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (or higher education/technical training preferred depending on region)
This role supports sales operations by ensuring accurate order processing, responsive customer communication, and reliable data management. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong customer focus.
Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between £24,785.00-£49,420.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other CompensationThis position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
