Customer Service Assistant
Newport, Shropshire
Permanent
Monday to Friday, 7am – 4pm
£28,500

Key
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Acting as a first point of contact for customers via telephone and email.
* Handling inbound and outbound customer communications in a professional and timely manner.
* Providing customers with updates on deliveries, lead times and available service options.
* Resolving customer queries and issues, ensuring a positive outcome and high levels of satisfaction.
* Liaising with operational teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
* Coordinating communication between customers and internal departments.
* Updating internal systems and databases with accurate and relevant information.
* Monitoring recurring customer issues and escalating concerns where appropriate.
* Producing and maintaining KPI information and service-related reports.
* Contributing to a collaborative team environment focused on delivering excellent customer service.
Skills & Experience:
We're looking for a confident and customer-focused individual with previous customer service or administrative experience. You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable building relationships over the phone and via email, and able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and good IT skills are essential, along with a proactive approach and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
