Professional /Technical Qualifications Essential criteria
- RGN Professional Qualification
- Evidence of Continuing Professional development/qualification relevant to lung cancer or respiratory medicine cancer.
- Nursing Degree
- Non-Medical Prescribing qualification
- High level advanced clinical skills and knowledge
- An awareness and understanding of pleural disease and the aility to work between primary and secondary care.
- Up to date knowledge and understanding of nursing policy and practice relevant to speciality
- Ability to work and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting within and outside the Trust.
- Evidence of advanced communication skills including verbal, non verbal and written. This wil include evidence of breaking bad news.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with professional credibility
