Location: Telford (Various Secondary Schools)
Salary: £90 - £180 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Temporary/On-demand (with potential for long-term placements)

Role OverviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join secondary schools across Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting students and ensuring that lessons run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher. The role requires a confident individual who can manage student behaviour, engage with learners, and maintain a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervision of Students:
Oversee classes during teacher absence, ensuring that students remain focused, engaged, and on-task. - Lesson Delivery:
Support the implementation of pre-prepared lessons, guiding students through tasks and activities as directed. - Behaviour Management:
Maintain discipline and manage classroom behaviour in a positive and respectful manner. - Communication:
Report any issues regarding student progress or behaviour to school leadership. - General Support:
Assist with general administrative tasks as required, helping the school run smoothly on a daily basis.
- Previous experience working with children or young adults (advantageous).
- Strong communication skills:
Able to engage students effectively and communicate clearly with staff and students. - Classroom management:
Ability to maintain a calm, productive environment, ensuring students stay on task. - Commitment to safeguarding: A strong dedication to the welfare and safeguarding of students.
- DBS: A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Competitive daily pay: £90 - £180, based on experience and qualifications.
