We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive secondary school team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching ICT to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, inspiring them to develop technical and problem‑solving skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning and contribute to their academic development.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high‑quality ICT lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, ensuring they meet the national curriculum requirements.
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons that foster student development in both practical and theoretical ICT skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Promote a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall ICT curriculum and share best teaching practices.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of technological trends and incorporate them into lesson plans when appropriate.
- A relevant degree in ICT, Computing, or a related subject (or equivalent experience).
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred, but not essential).
- Proven experience teaching ICT to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Strong understanding of the ICT curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver lessons effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and manage classroom dynamics.
- Passion for education and a commitment to supporting student achievement.
