We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious French teacher to join a successful, supportive, and committed team of specialist linguists. Candidates for the post should have a relevant degree, exhibit a passion for language teaching and be able to deliver high quality, engaging lessons. This post is suitable for both ECTs and those with experience looking for a new challenge.
The successful candidate will be committed to the highest-quality of teaching, learning and assessment, will enjoy working as part of a team and will have a key role in securing the best possible outcomes for our students. We are keen to provide enrichment opportunities for students studying French, and a willingness to contribute to trips abroad may be an advantage.
Part-time hours will be considered (0.6 or 0.8). Thomas Telford School has an excellent reputation for achieving outstanding results. The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to build on the strengths of the department and be committed to curriculum development. This position is an ideal opportunity for an excellent and passionate classroom practitioner to make a significant contribution to developments within the Modern Foreign Languages Department at Thomas Telford School.
