We are seeking a committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Shrewsbury. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and wants to make a real impact in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and assessing the Key Stage 1 curriculum, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of all students.
- Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, motivated, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Manage classroom behaviour in a positive, supportive manner to create a calm and focused learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure high‑quality, consistent teaching and learning across the year group.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent consultations as required.

Ideal Candidate- A qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 1 teaching, or someone with a strong desire to work with younger children.
- Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and experience with early years assessment practices.
- A patient, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to teaching, with a passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a structured, engaging environment.
- A positive and adaptable attitude, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
