• Take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and assessing the Key Stage 1 curriculum, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of all students.
• Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment where children feel safe, motivated, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
• Manage classroom behaviour in a positive, supportive manner to create a calm and focused learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure high‑quality, consistent teaching and learning across the year group.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent consultations as required.

• A qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 1 teaching, or someone with a strong desire to work with younger children.

• A patient, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to teaching, with a passion for supporting young children’s learning and development.
• Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a structured, engaging environment.
• A positive and adaptable attitude, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
