We are working with a small, specialist trauma-informed provision supporting students aged 11 to 18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Many students have experienced significant trauma, including exploitation, and some are currently in care.
This is a nurturing, secure setting where relationships come first. Small class sizes, high staff ratios and a personalised curriculum allow each student to follow a bespoke pathway aligned to her ability, interests and aspirations.
The school’s values of Growth, Resilience, Belonging and Ownership are embedded in daily practice. Students are supported to rebuild self-worth, develop confidence and strengthen social skills in a calm, structured environment. On-site animals form part of the therapeutic offer, supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing.
The Role- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Use trauma-informed approaches to support regulation
- Promote positive relationships and healthy boundaries
- Work closely with safeguarding and pastoral teams
- Contribute to a safe, respectful learning environment
- Has experience in SEMH, SEND, residential care or alternative provision
- Understands trauma-informed practice
- Is calm, consistent and professionally boundaried
- Has strong safeguarding awareness

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
