EYFS Teaching Assistant

We are looking for individuals who can create a positive and engaging learning environment, supporting children during those crucial early years of development. This full-time opportunity is due to begin in September 2026, although there are also opportunities available before this date for the right candidates.

• Supporting children within EYFS classrooms across a range of primary school settings
• Assisting with delivering engaging learning activities
• Encouraging social, emotional and educational development
• Working alongside teachers to support individual and group learning
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment

Based in the popular Lawley area of Telford, this welcoming primary school recently received a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and has a strong community feel. The school is a one-form entry primary school with a two-form entry EYFS provision, offering a supportive and collaborative environment where staff work together to provide an engaging and nurturing learning experience for all pupils.

• Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working within EYFS settings or primary schools
• A caring, patient and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
