Aspire People are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Telford seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Support pupils' transition from EYFS into Year 1
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (placements considered for ECTs)
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
A positive, nurturing, and proactive approach
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
