Position: School Caretaker / Site Maintenance

School Caretaker and Site Maintenance

Haberdashers’ Abraham Darby is passionate about learning in its widest sense. Our mission is to ensure that our pupils value and enjoy their learning inside and outside the classroom.

We require a well organised and proactive School Caretaker to join our existing Site team to maintain a clean, attractive, secure and welcoming site for staff, students and visitors. The successful candidate will report to the Site Manager to assist in the delivery of quality site service and maintenance.

Telford, Shropshire

Salary Range

£28,395 - £29,068 per annum (Grade 3, Point 3-4)

Hours

40 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year

Shift patterns

and  (with some flexibility required)

Holiday Entitlement

20 days per academic year, plus statutory days (increasing to 25 days after 5 years)

Qualifications
  • Plumbing, carpentry, electrical and basic I.T skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance will be an advantage.

All applicants need to have the Right to Work in the UK to be considered for the role. s (including photographic) will be carried out at the interview stage. References will be taken up prior to interview.

Any offer of employment is conditional upon certain conditions which will be outlined in the offer letter. All new staff are expected to undertake mandatory training: safeguarding, online safety and prevent prior to their employment start date.
