Job OverviewWe are seeking an inspirational, values‑driven Headteacher to lead the school into its next chapter. The successful candidate will embed the school’s vision and values across its culture, curriculum, and daily life, creating a cohesive, values‑driven environment where all can flourish.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic direction and vision of the school.
- Develop and strengthen a school culture that reflects CARE values.
- Oversee curriculum design, delivery and assessment across all year groups.
- Manage the school’s resources and budget to meet statutory and strategic priorities.
- Recruit, develop and support high‑quality teaching and support staff.
- Engage with parents, governors and the wider community to promote positive partnerships.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management policies are upheld.
- Provide regular performance feedback and appraisals for staff.
- Represent the school within the local education community and to external stakeholders.
- Strong experience as a Headteacher or senior educational leader in a primary setting.
- In‑depth knowledge of the National Curriculum and curriculum design for primary education.
- Track record of developing collaborative, inclusive, and high‑expectation learning environments.
- Experience in managing staff, resources and budgets responsibly.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with parents and community groups.
- Solid understanding of safeguarding principles, health and safety legislation and risk management.
- Leadership experience in a multi‑academy trust or similar organisational setting is an asset.
