Key Stage 2 Teacher (Temp to Perm - Full Time)

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Telford on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity for a long-term permanent role for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about upper primary education and helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations.

Key Stage 2 Education

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to a KS2 class, ensuring all pupils are supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Supporting progress in core subjects including English, Maths, and foundation subjects
Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment
Assessing, tracking, and reporting pupil progress effectively
Managing classroom behaviour in a consistent and positive way
Working collaboratively with support staff and wider school colleagues
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 preferred
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Confident and effective classroom management skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
Passion for raising attainment and supporting pupil development
Positive, adaptable, and reflective teaching approach

The Ideal Candidate Will Be
Passionate about upper primary education
Confident in supporting pupils through SATs preparation (where applicable)
Skilled at building positive relationships with children and families
A strong team player with excellent communication skills
Committed to high standards of teaching and learning
