Teaching Assistant – Overview
37 hours per week, Term time plus 1 week
£21,906 to £22,253 per annum (Actual Salary)
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our school. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within an established and highly successful team.
The position is suitable for experienced and qualified Level 2/3 Teaching Assistants. The successful candidate will work with a dedicated team of specialist teachers at one of our two sites, supporting both SEMH and ASD students.
Key responsibilities include supporting classroom instruction, facilitating student learning, and collaborating with teachers to meet individual student needs. The TA will assist with lesson planning, delivery, classroom management and assessment activities.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant; excellent communication and organisational skills; ability to work within a team; understanding of SEMH and ASD learner needs.
