An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Telford is seeking a Geography Teacher to join the Humanities department on a temporary supply contract commencing September 2026.

- Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography, environmental issues, sustainability, and global challenges. Support pupils in preparing for GCSE Geography, encouraging enquiry‑based learning, critical thinking and the development of strong geographical knowledge and skills.
Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons, assess student progress, and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Work alongside a supportive Humanities team to ensure students are challenged, engaged, and motivated to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS3 and KS4
- Prepare students for GCSE Geography
- Promote enquiry‑based learning and critical thinking
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students in the development of geographical knowledge and skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
- Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
- Confidence in delivering GCSE Geography content
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Commitment to supporting student progress and achievement
- Passion for Geography and a desire to develop students’ understanding of the world around them
