Cleaning Assistant

16.25 hours per week, 3:15 pm – 6:30 pm (Monday & Friday). Temporary covering a secondment. 48.09 weeks, term time plus four weeks.

• Support and be part of the cleaning team to ensure standards are excellent and meet the terms of the cleaning specification for the school.
• Perform physically demanding duties within tight deadlines.

• Experience in commercial cleaning is desirable, but not essential.
• Reliable, flexible, thorough and efficient person with good interpersonal skills and a professional manner.
• Good physical stamina, able to work to tight deadlines.

• COSHH and Health & Safety training an advantage; training will be offered.

All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service before appointment confirmation. This check will include details of cautions, reprimands, or warnings, as well as convictions and non-conviction information. Upon provisional appointment, the successful applicant(s) may also be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure at predetermined intervals during the course of their employment.
