Teaching Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Teaching Assistant.

Hours: Part‑Time, Permanent, 28 hrs per week, Mon – Thurs

Location: Telford

Salary: NMW, pro rata (depending on experience, skills & qualifications)

• Support the class teacher in the preparation and delivery of lessons and interventions for the day.
• Provide daily reports on learners’ progress and barriers to learning.
• Interact with parents and caregivers on a regular basis.
• Assist in dealing with any behavioural difficulties that may occur.
• Motivate, challenge and inspire students to achieve their best.
• Contribute to our core vision and values.
• Work independently and as part of a strong and cohesive team.
• Have strong subject knowledge within English and Maths.

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Teaching Assistant in an education setting.
• Relevant qualification or training in Special Education.
• Previous experience of working with learners who have an EHCP would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have vision, innovation and passion for teaching and learning.
• Help us build on already good results.
• Be confident to support with planning and assessing, be creative and proactive.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
